IOF troops wound two farmers, occupation airforce bomb a border area

GAZA, KHAN YOUNIS (PIC)-- Two Palestinian farmers were wounded on Thursday evening when IOF troops opened fire during an incursion to the east of Gaza city, while occupation airfoce bombed an area east of Khan Younis.

Dr. Muaweyah Hasaneen, director of emergency services at the Ministry of Health said that IOF troops entered into Gaza near Karni crossing to the east of Gaza and opened fire at Palestinian farmers and residents in the area wounding two of them moderately.

Local residents also said that Israeli occupation bulldozers bulldozed tracts of agricultural lands in the area.

The Qassam Brigades said that its fighters fired four 80-mm mortars at the invading troops.

In the meantime, Israeli occupation aircraft, Thursday night, fired at least one rocket at an open area east of Khan Younis claiming that it was targeting a secret tunnel intended to be used for launching attacks against Israel.

Local sources said that the area hit lies about 1500 meters from the border and that no one was hurt in the attack.

The Israeli occupation has been escalating the attacks on the Gaza Strip from the land, the air and the sea and killed a fishermen a week ago and two Qassam fighters a couple of days ago.
