Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak finally stepped down and handed power to the military, according to the country’s Vice-President Omar Suleiman. It comes after more than two weeks of mass uprisings and protests in the country, which has been accompanied by a wave of violent clashes between pro and anti government protesters, resulting in the deaths of 300 protesters.
