Hamadeh saw that there are only two ways the GOL could deal with the issue of the communications network in question, by either resorting to the UNSC or use the "cloak of municipal councils friendly to the March14 to cut the lines... He wondered whether the Lebanese army and ISF had the courage to do the job, knowing that Hezbollah informed the Lebanese security officials that they would deal with any alteration to the network, as if it was an Israeli aggression. Hamadeh told Sison that he informed French FM Bernard Kouchner and advisers to French President Nicolas Sarkozy with details of the data, as well as the ambassadors of France and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Beirut. Moreover, Hamadeh said that MP Saad Hariri immediately sent a special plane to Saudi Arabia to provide the King and Saudi intelligence chief Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz, a copy of the maps..."
