Mossad agents sabotage flotilla ship engine

ATHENS, (PIC)-- Unidentified men suspected of having links with the Israeli foreign intelligence agency, the Mossad, sabotaged the engine of one of the ships on Freedom Flotilla II currently docked in Greece, flotilla organizers said.
Repairs could take around two days, said Rami Abdo, a member of the European campaign to end the siege on Gaza.

Abdo reiterated that organizers are determined to get the ships to Gaza to defy Israel’s blockade and deliver badly needed aid in spite of whatever difficulties they may face.
Israel has threatened to use military force to thwart the flotilla’s ships. More recently, it has been pressuring Greece, where six or seven ships are currently docked, to halt their departure for as long as possible.

Greece has already taken measures to complicate the mission administratively. Two companies have so far pulled out of deals to insure the ships as Israeli pressure mounts.
Flotilla organizers expect that the ships would join forces on Thursday or Friday off the coast of Crete before sailing to Gaza.

“Around nine or ten vessels will meet [near Crete], and we hope Greek authorities do not prevent us from launching despite pressure from Israel and other countries,” a source said during a press conference on Monday.
