We get daily dose of anti-Muslim streotype that women are not allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia by its Wahabi/Salafi rulers. However, the Zionist-controlled media rarely mentions that in certain areas of Jerusalem city, Jewish women are forced to ride in the back of buses and trains. In Israel, Jewish women are not allowed to carry Jewish Holly book Torah, or board Israel’s national airline El Al carrying Rabbis. These flights between Tel Aviv to New York are ‘women-free and movie-free’. No air stewardesses are allowed. Rabbis are served by male staff. Close to home, Jewish women are neither allowed to drive or walk on the same side of the street as men in New Square, an Orthodox Jewish enclave north of Time Square.
A poll late last year, showed that 56% Americans still believe Barack Obama is a Muslim observing Taqia (Moser in Judaism) – even though poor Obama has always asked Netanyahu what can he do for Israel.
It’s reported that when Rabbi Shlomo Riskin was looking for a rosh yeshiva (a dean) for a yeshiva he was starting. He interviewed ten Talmudic scholars for the post. He asked the same question to each of them: “Suppose you ordered an electric shaver from a store owned by non-Jews, and by accident the store sent you two shavers. Would you return the second shaver?”. Nine passed the test by saying, “they would not” and one failed who said he would. The nine passed because their answer was based on halachah (Jewish Shria) which allows a Jew to profit from a non-Jew’s business error.
Such practice could cost someone his one hand in Saudi Arabia due to country’s barbaric Shari’ah law!
Now compare this bizzare news from the ‘only democracy in the Mideast‘. In January, the Chief Rabbi of the Israel Air Force, Lt. Col. Moshe Ravad, tendered his resignation from a program that integrates ultra-Orthodox soldiers into the Israeli army. The rabbi’s announcement was in response to the army’s decision not to excuse religious soldiers from military events in which women sing. A week prior to that, Rabbi Elyakim Levanon, rabbi of the West Bank settlement of Elon Moreh, said that if the army insists that all soldiers attend official events with women singing, “You have to leave those events even if there’s a firing squad outside, and you’ll be shot to death.” Better for a halachic Jew to die than to hear a male-female chorus sing “Hatikvah”?
Currently, more than one-eighth of all soldiers in Israel Occupation Force (IOF) are Orthodox Jews.
I’m sure most of readers of this blog would know that Saudi Wahhabis practice stoning for adultery – however, I bet most of them have not heard of this news item. On June 16, 2010 – Israel daily YNet had reported that a Jerusalem rabbinical court sentenced a wandering dog (considered an impure animal by Halacha) to death by stoning. The cruel sentence stemmed from the suspicion that the spirit of a famous secular lawyer, who insulted the court’s judges 20 years ago, had been transferred into the dog’s body.
