Syrian Army Kills Scores of Militants, Thwarts Terrorist Attacks in Several Area

Syrian Army and Armed Forces on Monday continued operations of hunting down terrorist organizations’ members, destroying their dens and killing dozens of them in several areas around the country.

Quneitra

Dozens of al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed due to a military operation launched by an army unit against their hideouts in the village of Rasm al-Khawaled in the countryside of the southern province of Quneitra, a military source told SANA.

The army operation against al-Nusra terrorists in the village resulted in the destruction of a number of their vehicles with all weapons and ammunition inside them, according to the source.

Another army unit destroyed a al-Nusra terrorist organization’s hideout and a warehouse for weapons and ammunition in Um Batenah in the countryside of the province.

Meanwhile, a number of terrorists were killed , others injured in a military operation launched by an army unit on one of Jabhat al-Nusra hideouts in the village of Mass-hara in the countryside of the province of Quneitra.

Daraa

Army units killed numbers of terrorists in Tal Antar and Tal al-Mal and the towns of al-Mal, Inkhel, al-Foqei’, al-Teeha and Ibtah in Daraa countryside.

A military source told SANA that a den of terrorists’ leaders was also targeted in al-Jiza area 13 km from the Jordanian borders where the den was completely destroyed.

Another military operation was launched against terrorists in al-Sammad village to the south of Busra al-Sham in the eastern countryside of the province where terrorists’ weapons, ammunition and vehicles were destroyed.

Also, army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists of al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra and al-Mothanna Movement during operations that targeted their hideouts in Daraa al-Balad neighborhood, al-Sheikh Maskin town, Tal Motoueq, Inkhel, Qarfa and Attman.

Other army units eliminated many terrorists in Mzairib, Tisia, al-Jabiye hills, al-Hara, Antar, and al-Alaqiya in Daraa countryside, in addition to destroying one of their weapons and ammo depots near the town of Maaraba in the province’s eastern countryside.

Army units also eliminated many terrorists, most of them Saudis, Jordanians, and Tunisians, in Jumleh area in Daraa’s western countryside.

Idleb

An army unit killed 20 terrorists, most of them foreigners including an Egyptian nicknamed “Abu Hamada al-Masri,” while repelling an attack by the terrorists on the Idleb-Harem road in the countryside of Idleb province.

Three vehicles and a heavy artillery gun belonging to the terrorists were destroyed in the clash.

Another unit of the army destroyed a den of terrorists, an armed vehicle, and a car equipped with heavy machinegun, and killed a number of terrorists and wounded others in Tal Anoon area north of Bennesh city, in addition to killing a number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition in Abu al-Duhour, Tal Salmou and Um Jreen in the eastern countryside of the province.

A number of terrorists were killed in a special operation in Nahla village in Areeha area, while an army unit attacked terrorists’ gatherings and killed a number of them in Halouz and al- Taeibat villages in Jesr al-Shoughour countryside.

The army also destroyed terrorists’ dens and killed a number of them in Jub al-Ahmar village near the Lattakia province administrative borders line.

Homs

An army unit clashed with ISIL terrorists who had attempted to attack the Ebla gas pipeline northwest of Oum al-Tababir village in Homs’ eastern countryside.

The clash left most of the terrorists dead or injured and resulted in the destruction of their equipment, and the remaining terrorists fled the scene.

Sweida

A unit of army and armed forces launched a special operation against terrorist organizations’ dens and hideouts in the eastern countryside of Sweida province in which many terrorists were killed and wounded.

“An army unit destroyed a den of takfiri terrorist organizations and a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun, killing and wounding some of their members in Sa’ad village in the eastern desert of Sweida”, a military source told SANA Monday.
