Tuesday’s Split Decision Puts Clinton Close to Clinching Party Nomination

Farcical primary season thankfully ends in June. As expected, Sanders took Oregon on Tuesday.
Clinton won Kentucky by a margin so thin it’s fair to suggest another primary theft. Earlier she stole Iowa, Nevada and Arizona.

The system was rigged for her long before the first caucus and primary votes were cast, Sanders going along for the ride, more opportunist than populist, a con man enjoying an extended 15 minutes of fame.

Clinton is the presumptive Democrat nominee, around 100 delegates short of clinching it, most unelected super-delegate party insiders pledged to support her.

It’s virtually over but the postmortems. The New York Times, a rabid Clinton supporter, mindless of her pure evil record, said it’s “almost impossible for Mr. Sanders to overcome” her delegate lead.

A Trump/Clinton race shapes up as one of the most rough-and-tumble, no-holds barred ones in memory. The deplorable record of the former first lady, US senator, and secretary of state is red meat for any opponent.

Trump will take full advantage. Sanders barely laid a glove on her throughout the campaign. Several times he pledged support if she’s nominated. Perhaps he’ll serve as vice president if asked.
Trump is nearly even with Clinton in some national polls. With months to go before November elections, he could surprise by winning.

Either way, ordinary people lose. Choosing between a billionaire demagogue and unindicted war criminal/Wall Street tool assures dirty business as usual winning like always.

Monied interests run America. Voters have no say over how their nation is governed. Democracy is pure fantasy. None whatever exists.
